“APU” JSC carries out waste management within the framework of all types of solid waste of production, and in order to reduce the amount of waste sent to the landfill, 33 tons of waste plastic bags were collected and taken to Plastic Center LLC.The Plastic Center plastic bag recycling plant produced a total of 110 pieces of 100% sealed pit latrine liners from this waste. This will prevent 660,000 liters of sewage from seeping into the soil of the capital Ulaanbaatar every year.
